This beautiful carved wood Bao board is a traditional Tanzanian game.  The box itself is a lovely decorative piece, and the game will challenge the whole family.

The Bao game is related to the family of board games played around the world, sometimes called "sowing" games, or "count-and-capture" games, which describes the gameplay.
